Where to Get Treatment

There are several ways to begin HIV care in Georgia. You can visit your primary care doctor or your local health department. If you are concerned about affording care, the Georgia Ryan White Program offers a range of services to low-income residents. These services include medical care, support services, access to free HIV medications through the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP), and help with insurance coverage. For more information, visit the Ryan White Services page.

Eligibility for the Ryan White Program is based on the following criteria:

  • You must be HIV positive.
  • You must live in Georgia.
  • You must have an income below 300% of the federal poverty guidelines.

To check if you may be eligible for the program, please visit the Ryan White Eligibility Portal.

If you have questions or need information about eligibility, contact the nearest Ryan White clinic. Open the tab with the district closest to you to see available locations.
